tyler boyle 03 - NYC trip

Even though these weren't photographs I really enjoyed the aspects of color and line work in these paintings.
Invisible City//Night Walk was my favorite gallery from the trip. These photos gave a personal look into different aspects of life. I also enjoy the graininess and grittiness of these photos, they had a very raw feeling. Even though they seem like snapshots they were attention grabbing.
I enjoy this idea of using layers upon layers of photos to create a single image. The photos had a sense of motion and airiness even though they were mostly of people standing still.
Although sort of boring I think these photos used color, shadow, and light wonderfully. I also appreciate the juxtaposition of the dilapidated interiors and the ornate furniture.
