One of the galleries that I enjoyed most was the gallery of fashion shows by Dina Litovsky. I really enjoyed looking at the backstage shots that she had captured. Although these shots are candid, they are also very well composed and the colors are just amazing. I think Litovksy's photographs doesn't speak much about fashion, but most of them usually have some kind of narrative underlying the pretty pictures. For example, a few of these images comment on what I think, is about the corruption of the digital age and how it has affect our way of seeing, in both the present and in the photographic world

In contrast the the gallery that was mentioned above, this is probably one of the most interesting things that I have seen throughout our second gallery visit. I'm not the one to devalue the work of artists, but I feel like there's no substance in the pieces that were shown. although these paintings show his impeccable skills for blending, it also lacks the creativity and meaning that is present in other artists' works. In a way, they remind me of the color gradient tool on photoshop - so I personally don't think this is very impressive. *yawn*
